Quick reminder for all students –
Your blog posts following the formation of the National Women Suffrage Association in May 1869 is due by midnight on Wednesday, October 3, 2012. You will have plenty of time in class to work on your blog posts, but if for some reason you still are not finished by the end of class, you will need to finish your assignment by that date and time. Please remember that you must include what happened, along with your thoughts and analysis.
Also, don’t forget to keep up with your research for your unit presentations which are due on November 19, 2012. It may seem a long way away, but time has a funny way of creeping up on us a lot faster than we think. Don’t forget that you can share your links with your fellow classmates via Diigo!
If you have any questions or concerns about assignments, please feel free to contact me during my conference period. You can email me to set up a specific date that you would like to come! My door is also always open before or after school.
I found this link on Scholastic that has a quick quiz on women’s suffrage! Do you think you got what it takes to make a 100? Take the quiz and find out!

We are currently working on our unit presentations for our Women’s Rights Units. For those of you that are looking for resources to use when researching the key figures in the Women’s Suffrage movement, look no further than the blogroll to the right of the posts. There you will find links to important museums, libraries and other resources that you can use for your project or to get ideas for your presentation. If you have any other important websites or resources that you would like to share, please feel free to comment with them below, add them to your Diigo account and share with the group or email me!
